TRIALS 2026

DNA Representative Program supports all DNA members wanting to play at the highest level & aim to progress through the Netball Victoria elite athlete pathway. Teams are made up of players from our clubs playing in Saturday and Wednesday competitions who are keen to develop their skills further.

These teams will be selected by a panel of experts both from Darebin and other associations.

Any player unable to attend the first trial or second trial day is required to contact darebinnetball@gmail.com. Otherwise they will not be considered.
Players will be cut after the first trial.
All players will be notified via email post the first trial if they are required to attend the second trial.
The amount of teams will be based on talent and player numbers.
Trials cost is $25
Current rep players from 11s-15s playing in the 1s teams who are trialing in the same age group(ei Bottom age players in the 1s teams) will not be required to attend the first trial; they will be notified of this. This does not confirm their position in any way in the program. Subject to change this is the expectation for the players once selected.
11s Will be playing tournaments as well as this the will play season 1 at EDNA at riverside season 2 is optional. Training Monday night.
13s Will be playing tournaments as well as this the will play season 1 weekly - (13 3s only) at EDNA at riverside season 2 is optional (13 1s/2s only) at Parkville playing under 15s for both seasons as well as Association champs. Training Monday night.
15s Will play at Parkville in the under 15s as well as (15 1s/2s only) Association champs and a few tournaments to prepare for Association Champs. Training Monday night
17s Will play at Parkville in the under 17s as well as (17 1s/2s) Association champs and a few tournaments to prepare for Association Champs. Training Sunday Night.
Opens play at Parkville playing Monday or Tuesday Night (TBC) 2 seasons as well as Association champs for (Open 1) and a few tournaments to prepare for Association Champs. Training Sunday Night.
