DNA Representative Program supports all DNA members wanting to play at the highest level & aim to progress through the Netball Victoria elite athlete pathway. Teams are made up of players from our Saturday competition clubs who are keen to develop their skills further & play in a range of tournaments against other Associations throughout the state with an opportunity to be Talent Identified & for our senior teams, to play weekly in the Parkville competition.

2023 year we have the following teams representing DNA: Tournament Teams Under 11 & 13 – have competed in 7 Tournaments throughout the year (March- September) - The second Season has seen our 11U and some 13U participate in the Essendon District Competition on Thursday Nights and our higher Age Group 13's participate in 15U Parkville.

Under 15 Team - plays weekly on Thursdays Under 17 Team - plays weekly on Tuesdays Open Team – plays weekly on Tuesdays M League Competition Teams (Males & Mixed) Under 15 Boys - plays in a 12 week season on Wednesdays Under 18 Boys - plays in a 12 week season on Wednesdays Under 18 Mixed - plays in a 12 week season on Wednesdays

Applications Now Open for Coaching Positions for 2024

Darebin Netball Association is committed to delivering a Representative program that fosters the development of coaches and players in our Association.

All applications are welcome all applications for the following coaching positions in 2024:

11U Coach

13U Coach

15U Coach

17U coach

Open Coach

Rep Convenor

All coaches will be required to attend a weekly training session (90 min) for their team at DCSS 857 Plenty Road Reservoir (currently this is on a Monday night). In addition to training sessions, coaches of 11U-13U teams will be required to attend seven tournaments scheduled throughout the 2024 year with coaches of 15U-Open teams required to attend weekly games on a Tuesday Night (17U & Open) and Thursday nights (15U) at the State Netball Centre in Parkville and or Riverside.

The Darebin Netball Association Executive Committee will review all applications and select those we wish to progress to interview. An Honorarium payment will be paid to successful applicants for all positions and discussed at the time of interview.

All 2024 coaching appointments require an application to be submitted for consideration and will be 12 months in duration.

Rep Tryouts

The following 2024 Representative teams will be selected on the basis of player performance at the selection trials:

11U Sunday 22nd & Sunday 29th 1pm to 3pm - click here to register

All successful players will be required to attend a weekly training session (90 min) for their team at DCSS 857 Plenty Road Reservoir (Currently on a Monday night Under 11 to Under 15 teams train 4.30 – 6.00pm and Under 17 teams trains 5.30 – 7.00pm - this is subject to change and provided as a guide only).

In addition to training sessions, players of 11U-13U teams will be required to attend approx seven tournaments scheduled throughout the 2024 year with players of 15U-Open teams required to attend weekly games on a Thursday 15U & Tuesday night 17U & Open at the State Netball Centre in Parkville and/or Riverside.

We encourage all interested players to register their attendance at the selection trials, being held on the weekend of Sat 22nd October commencing at 1:00pm and Sun 29th October commencing at 1:00pm at Narrandjeri Staduim - 281 Darebin Road Thornbury.
